Meet Sam Kelder
Real Estate Professional
I am the key to your new home.
As someone who grew up in and lived all throughout the Okanagan, I know how incredibly lucky I am to call this place home. To live in this beautiful part of BC is a dream for many, but helping people to achieve that dream is what drives me. I genuinely love meeting new people and hearing their stories. This, combined with my knowledge of the area and all of its hidden gems, makes working in this industry more than just a job for me. It's a passion.
I was raised on a dairy farm with three older brothers and I have never shied away from hard work or responsibility. But at the same time, I have always been drawn to the paths that would take me outside of my comfort zone, as that is where all the growth seems to happen. Learning new things has always excited me, but sharing that knowledge with others is one of the things that fulfills me the most. Whenever I cross paths with someone, I want to know that I added value to their lives in some way. Whether it's helping someone to write their first real budget, navigating the logistics of moving house, or even just helping a first-time homebuyer to understand the market, I'm here to help in any capacity that I can.
My favorite part of being a realtor is move in day! I love that I get to be part of the emotional experience that comes with taking possession of a home. It always feels like Christmas! There really is no better feeling than knowing you helped someone to get out of the rental market and make a huge investment in their future.
In the brief moments that I am not practicing real estate I am typically cruising around on my favorite pair of roller skates, writing music or reading a book about something I know nothing about. Knowledge is power after all!
I believe that openness and honesty are the key to a successful and happy life and that the same rule applies in the world of Real Estate. Clear communication is the key to making sure the process of buying or selling a home goes smoothly and this theory has yet to be proven wrong!
